Richmond Hill Scholarship

The following is a letter written by the recipient of a recent Salaam Isa Scholarship:

“I would like to express profound sincere gratitude and appreciation for Salaam Isa's generosity in providing the $3,240 scholarship to cover my 2 years of tuition at Richmond Hill. I testify that this scholarship is a God-sent answer as it came in the mid of prayers precisely at the hour of need. Although the desire, urge and need for pursuing a Spiritual Direction course like the RUAH XIX Program was so very intense in my heart, and I knew God was calling me to take a step in that direction, at that time my financial situation was its farthest from being conducive to support my participation in the program. So, I embarked on prayers for guidance and provision, and to my pleasant surprise, the Salaam Issa Scholarship materialized. I really delight in God, and I am happy that He always intervenes in my situations Just in Time (JIT).

Taking a quick reflection on my RUAH XIX journey so far, I really thank God for all the wonderful caring people and organizations, including Salaam Isa, that He raised timely along the way to help—whose help really means a lot to me.  The Spiritual Direction training will equip me with relevant skills to serve the Lord effectively in the Ministries of Deliverance, Counseling, Intersession, and Gospel Missions. I yearn and long to know and experience more and more of Jesus and the Holy Spirit as I strive to continually grow in spirit. I beseech the Holy Spirit to strengthen my desire to seek the Lord to give me the same yearning, longing, panting, and thirsting for God that Isaiah and David spoke of in Isaiah 26:9 and Psalm 42:1.

I pray that God will continue working mightily through Salaam Isa and like organizations to mobilize resources, schedules, and talents, and to align their agenda with His divine master plan for the fulfillment of His Kingdom Strategies!”
